In partnership with US local media group McClatchy, we have developed a Hurricane bot, which creates automated updates on data from the National Hurricane Center in the US. The bot was put to the test as hurricane Ian made land fall at the end of September (the image is from its land fall over the Carolinas).
Another Latin American publisher is now live with our automated content. Regional news site Diario Huarpe in Argentina is publishing automated football reports from national and international leagues as well as weather reports for 100 cities in the country and internationally. The latter are updates three times a day.
Local Swedish publisher TTELA publishes automated local weather updates for four municipalities, driving some 2,000 page views per day and even generating some conversions.
Getting automated content from United Robots has become a boost for TTELA's coverage.
Roularta Media Group in Belgium is live with automated weather forecast texts published for the 64 municipalities of the West-Vlaanderen (West Flanders) province. We send text updates for all morning, afternoon and evening. Readers can use the map on the De Krant van West-Vlaanderen website to choose weather forecasts for their own municipality and area.
Swedish Aftonbladet now publish weather updates as part of their local initiative, where they have set up 230 local sites around Sweden, with partly automated content, including local sports, real estate sales and traffic updates.
